i was just wondering if a carb had to be mounted straight up and down. i am unable to mount mine so. i dont have the room for it really it is mounted sideways i was wondering if that will work or not?

No, you need to mount the carb up and down otherwise, your engine will not run right. The float needs to be level to move correctly. You can get an offset intake tube from spooky tooth and then the carb might fit right.

Sideways is NOT a good thing!!! (if it runs)
You need to find a way to make it straight up.

The alternative to an offset intake is a short alloy one, (the type with an 'o' ring).
I think that Pirate Cycles sell them in the US, or Rock Solid Engines in Oz.

If you mount the carb sideways, the engine won't run but fuel will - all over the floor and into the crankcase.

thanks guys u really helped out alot lol. i will have to get an offet one thanks again
