    I got this several years ago and just now dug it out of storage,what do think I should do with it. louis

    If u have no need for another motorized bicycle i would keep it in it's original form...posterity.

    That E Bay seller has " Wishful Thinking, " on his mind. Right now, A JD bike has little collector value. $100 would be about right for one. Maybe later on, they will increase . Do with it what you want.
     
  8. It's not a real Deere anyway for it does not have a tractor seat like MOOP.

    Well this is what I did with ole Deere John.
    I started to motorize it but just didn't look right, I removed all the brazed ons, new wheels,seat,cranks,bars and paint. louis

    I have restored a few bikes in my life
    but - I have to tell you --- what an excellent job you have done
    seeing your restored bike - makes this one - want to go find something and clean it up !

    ride that bicycle thing

    That bike looks nice.
    Would be cool to find a green engine to put on it , Like the old Weedeater brand engines.
    It would be a mean green riding machine.

    Looks like that auction ended with a BIN of over $300...I guess wishfull thinking pays off!
