2 stroke bike kit

I have the fm80cc Pegasus I just recently put a reed valve kit on it with a regular piston and a maikuni pwk-32 and a expansion exhaust on it anf it was running really crappy and lean im wondering what i should do and today i put a ported piston in it and it wont run or fire i need help any opinions on what i should do or on jetting

You actually expected things to run correctly with a reed valve and not using a windowed piston which is required in order to use a reed valve???

Put your OE carb on and get it running for awhile before trying to soup it up. Then at least you know the electrics are right.

Can't tell by any of your pictures but how good are your brakes? Having a good braking system should take priority over wanting to go faster.

I think that comment can be saved for another time Jerry, right now, if he can't even get it to run or fire up, it doesn't matter if he even has brakes or not, he is dead in the water not going anywhere fast, slow, or at all.

And that also means without the reed valve too as you say your running a regular piston, not a windowed piston, required for a reed valve to operate.

Who cares if it isn't even starting???...lol...How about we help the guy to get it to even start and run before worrying about the other things like brakes, or lights, or horns or anything else...If it is not running, it is not moving anywhere...Lets get him moving first and worry about the other garbage if and when we even get to that point..

It actually does run pretty well with a reed and regular piston so maybe you should do your research
