Exaust question

Question if and when I get my bike going the first motor I'm going to run is a zeda100 firestorm and I'm going to run a expansion chamber the question is would there be any negative if I cut the muffler that come with the kit and put it on the end of the pipe with some heater hose to quiet it down abit?

It could be constrictive. Do you have a welder?

I don't. I was just going to get some hose clamps. In this context could you define constrictive?

I did something similar
Cheap expansion chamber, stock muffler fitted on the end, but with the tube removed

Yes it works. You probably want to modify the stock muffler a bit to un restrictify it a little. Like removing the tube and maybe drilling some holes

I put a larger diameter tube and opened up the baffle plates. Seems a good compromise, they seem to like a little back pressure for lower end torque.
