You're more than likely going to do heat damage to the hub bearings. Even the best of spokes can break. How would you replace one if it broke on the left side?
I mean if the wheel is dismantled shouldn't be a problem. Idk tho just trying to find solutions to this whole wheel thing

Once the freewheel is welded on how do you plan to get the bearings, cone nut, dust cover back on??? Then there's also the risk of burning the heads off the spokes.

For what you're wanting to do, the easiest way would be to remove the crank arms and use the bottom bracket as a jackshaft to the right side.
