Help! I bought a BT 80 engine. Yes it's 2 stroke, but the manual says fill it with120ml 4 stroke oil. It has an oil plug beside it but no drainage hole underneath the engine. The is no drainage bolt underneath. I tried to lean the bike parallel to the ground but the oil inside is not coming out. I dont know what next step I should do to change the oil. Manual says change oil after 1000km.

The clutch in the BT80 works in an oil bath. I would remove the clutch cover and check the dirty oil that comes out. I am not sure which oil to refill with is the best: 30wgt, 10-30wgt, motorcycle clutch oil, motorcycle engine oil or I have heard that 80-90wgt gear oil works good and also quiets the engine gear noise.

How do you drain the old oil? sorry mine is new. if you remove the front cover, would the oil spill out automatically?

On my 4 stroke engine it only has one hole for the oil. Therefore, I use a manual siphon pump. I stick the suction tube into the oil hole and pump it out. You can get a siphon pump for around $20 from eBay or Amazon.

I also like doing a Sea Foam flush before putting new oil back in.
