Clean it up good with some alcohol and fill it with jb weld.

those threads look a bit past it. if they work I would use them for now but I have had success with the cheap heli-coil kits from amazon as they look a bit mangled

PRO-TIP: If you keep your chain tight enough that it's physically impossible to fold a link upon itself... it will prevent what happened from happening.
