Kick Starting NE5 w/o Battery

Both of the 22mm carbs I have in my possession have the little spring loaded plunger at the end of the needle.

If you do end up needing a replacement, the needle valve for a PZ22 should work.

I removed the needle and it indeed does have a plunger. It was stuck in the 'plunged' position, and after soaking it in some gumout, it's now free. Next, I need to rotate it in the bore by hand a few times to ensure no more binding. Another update coming...

Removed the carb and cleaned it again... fit the needle w/o the float into the fuel inlet bore and the fit looked perfect.

Reassembled, refueled and rode the bike for 10 miles. Engine ran perfectly!

Go figure...
