As with ANY hobby, its possible to go as "bare bones" or "all the bells and whistles" as your imagination and wallet allow.
DO WE NEED a $6000 dollar 35cc 4stk folder? I'm sure some one thinks they do.
It looks well built and thought out, but my very first island hopper friction kit had the same design and engine and it cost me $295.00
I managed to convert it to a belt drive, lighten the engine carrier and install a very nice plastic gas tank opposite the engine to offset the left side weight bias.
all in all a very sturdy(if not tame due to the engines modest 35cc displacement) kit.
"Rolling your own" may not be an option for some people with out the means, tools,work space or know how.
But $6000?
I'm sorry i just do see it as worth it.
