I'm using some of those U shaped brakes, they stop my bike pretty decent. I will eventually put a disc brake on the front.

Same. Which is why I have zero options as to where I can put the rear tire for chain tensioning purposes unfortunately. I love the frame of my bike but I hate everything else about it lol tires and wheels are crap but they work.

I luckily ordered some brakes with long slots, so they reached to the rim.

I bought the cheapest bike possible. It's a smallish frame. Got a wide pedal kit and new pedals as well. other than that it's stock. With new wheels it would be a great bike. 26" (i think) wheels but a small frame, which is why the motor barely fits. It drives really well.
