Don't forget to remind him of the restrictors in the crab intake, small muffler. Probably would run better with a #78 main jet.

I got it as an inheritance from my father-in-law. I've had it for about 6 months and it's got 109 miles on it. I've put 6 miles on it in the short spurt I get it to run well enough

Crab intake? Do you mean carb? Guys , I'm a complete newbie to working on motors. I spent my formative years becoming a doctor of musical arts (bass trombone ) when I should have been working on cars and stuff.
Where would I get manuals, etc ?
