My loaded tour MB weighs around 80 lbs. I have a lot of lightweight camping gear, Hennessey Hammock, REI travel sacks, Granite Gear Vapor trail pack. I never thought about weighing my bike, but i rode thru a truck weigh station in Utah and it read 220 lbs. I weigh ~140, and to see if the scale was accurate, i stood on the scale and it read 140. At some point i may try the bathroom scale with my unloaded bike, which is an aluminum frame Cannondale, which is also a bit lighter than most tour bikes.
