All drop loop frames are copies of the first design, same as all A frames are copies of the first and so forth. I just meant the Simpson came before the sportsman. I wasn’t doubting his craftsmanship.

Yeah, I think Simpson was offering their Droplood M/B in 2000 about the same time Whizzer Motorbikes was popular again
Simpson Motorbikes was also a Whizzer dealer

Sportsman Flyer came along in about 2010 and really put the M/B world into the BTR again by making a nice replica with top quality Made in USA parts and WorksmanCycles wheels
