How intensive is splitting the case? I don't mind spending the time to do it but I don't wanna touch more than I have to, the less I touch the less I have the opportunity to mess up haha.

It's not that hard just need to use the crappy puller tool and undo the bolts.

the bearings can be a a** too pull apart but splitting the case is pretty straight forward
