I also run a 55w halogen sealed headlamp ($15/pr. from walmart) with an 8 amp sealed lead acid battery. I've gone over an hour with no dimming, I can see the road perfectly even at 30mph, my 2 4w led luxion flash lights I have mounted with hose clamps at the top of my front fork are a backup in case my 55w fails. With the led's , I can be blinded b y oncoming headlights, with the halogen, not a chance. I am very confident with this setup. It adds more weight with the battery, but it's more than worth it.
