Different motorkits: Parts interchangeability?

with so many different 2stroke suppliers, how much can engine parts be swapped? i know on my blue bike, it's a Dax top end with an unknown bottom end. but what about piston/rings and wrist pin bushings/roller bearings?
are pistons sized/designed the same?
example: will a Dax piston/rings fit my Kingsmotorbikes? i asked Dax, and Grady said he doesn't know.

unfortunately, I think you can only find out by trial and error
some might fit other makes, but I think you will have to experiment to know what will or won't work
I know dax and livefast don't interchange...that's a start

eek. 'trial and error' sounds alot like 'buy parts that wont work', haha
yeah, im kinda thinkin' thats the deal, though.
was just trying to figure a way to order certain parts from the vendor w/the lowest price.
that 'shipping and handling' is a MOFO

How come? Aren't these Happy Times essentially the same animal?

they are all very similar,,, but not identical (they all seem to come from different factories)
just like chevy's and fords (the engines look the same but parts aren't interchangeable)
