Key switch

I don't get it. The key switch has 2 wires. The engine has the 3. Black, blue and white. White is useless, blue is not needed, so there is only black wire. How do I wire both switch wires to the engine??

Blue wire from the engine goes to CDI and black wire goes to the CDI but first it goes to the key switch, that's it. Don't over think it.

You would have figured it out as soon as you started to run the wire.

Just make sure you use enough wire to get to your key location.
