Thanks for the tips! I will run a few tanks of gas through cruising the neighborhood keeping the speed low.

The bike runs and sounds fine. I live in a low elevation area, about 400’. The move on the needle didn’t seem to change the performance of the bike so I think I will keep it set in the second from the bottom until it is broken in and reassess then.

I've never played with jetting so I can't help ya there. I dig the old honda. I've been working on restoring a 1969 ct90. It's going more towards a resto-mod though.

That one's a '69 to '72 right? I can't quite see the speedometer shape otherwise I could tell exactly

Who mounted the tire backward?

It's not backwards, the direction of the tread pattern is correct
