very small high horsepower airplane engine

I would love to see one of these mounted onto a bicycle.
I've seen them on eBay & kicked the idea around, but didn't know about the clutch or weird looking engine mount plate.
Also looked at the larger 2 stroke lawn blower engines.
If it has been done, I'd sure like to read a review?

clutch for Robin

The clutch is the standard 76~78 mm that could be found on any GP460 or similair type engine. The problem with this engine is that 1) it must remain upright unless you change the carb. 2) it does not come complete with a clutch or gas tank. Good idea but......:giggle:

This small 400cc radial radio control model airplane engine is pretty sweet but I'm sure it desn't have enough torque to pull a string out of a puppies but ;-)

It could easily fly a model airplane in excess of 100 lbs.

Now, if the OP was talking about smaller engines, i agree a .40 cubic engine (1.2 hp) ENGINE ISN'T GOING TO CUT IT FOR A BIKE. That engine produces that 1.2hp at 17000 rpm and you will need a reduction to convert that to a useable operation (not practical).

that radial engine would tear your bike to pieces its 400cc not .4 or 40cc that engine would power a mid sized ultralight pretty nicely i think the 100lbs was a mistake
