Znsane, thanks for props.
This year I collect Social Security! When I was 20 years younger and dumber, I'd push to go faster.
I have found that I like cruising between 20-25 mph. So relaxing.
Above that speed, all my senses are on full alert. Total concentration. No relaxing.
I believe that 40mph will be the maximum speed I'd want with any motorized bike I build. And 35mph is my maximum sustained speed in traffic.
My 6hp is lost in the mail at Marysville, California!
The shipping label ripped off, so their Postmaster scribbled a note on a scrap paper and sent the label to my address. He also sent a copy of the label to the ebay seller who lives in Utah and who is investigating the matter.
I hope the seller is an honest man.
FWIW, Hawaii is the WORST place to ride a motorized bike. Insufficient bike routes, few road shoulders, the second most potholes per mile in the entire U.S.!
Fortunately, cops never bother to give me a second look.
Did I ever mention that motorized bikes are illegal in Hawaii?
