Can I Use Same Head Gasket?

HI: Was wondering if i can use same head gasket?I going to take motor
apart to do some polishing, Im pretty sure u can use same on over as long as
everything was ok before??? but I know it is always best to put Brand new
head gasket when you can!! Anybody know The scoop?

Coat it with copper coat gasket dressing or aluminum spray paint and you should be good to go.
Copper coat is better. If you go the spray paint rout, let the paint dry thoroughly before assembling.

worse comes to worse you can make one out of a beer can ive done it in emergencies works great.

Cardboard works to cut your own. Or an old sock for the exhaust gasket.....using search you can find some real good info and an occasional chuckle.

the coke can trick for the head gaskets good, and increases compression some

i prefer straight copper sheet, annealed every use. (heat red hot, cool. makes it soft n squishy again)

available from all good scrap yards or...sheet metal places who will give it to you usually... within reason.
