Free CAD program

Looks like fun. I downloaded a 2d CAD program from Siemens a while back but my PC wasn't powerful enough to operate it very well. It like drawing e-bikes, but I ride gas.

A friend of mine had a choice of paying $15,000 on a professional CAD program/system to do what he needs to do as part of his business requirements "or" find an alternative method that was equally good but less costly.

After some research he now uses the free DarftSight program to fulfill his CAD requirements.
