Clutch Motor shuts down when clutch is disengaged

Dude, I had that problem a while back. Turned out to have nothing to do with the carb. I found that the clutch was dragging slightly. Not enough to notice when I'd push the bike, but sufficient to drag the idle rpm down enough to stall. It was worst once the engine was hot. Might want to check that just to be sure. Hope that helps if you haven't already corrected your problem.

so what did you do, open the clutch plate and tighten it up?

All it took was a simple cable adjustment. Didn't have to take anything apart.
