Diesel is a great option,.pluat it is easier to make Diesel fuel at home.

On the Mad Max thing. Anyone besides me look into rendering plastic back into fuel? Basically, toss the plastic in a closed vessel, heat, distill the gasses and you have oil that needs further refining to make gasoline.
The Chinese have been big on this for a while, you can buy large scale plants on Alibaba.

Anyway I have to go to work now to pay for more shiny stuff.
