I think it is a great looking motor bike. I have seen no indication that ape hangers went out of style on motorcycles, so enjoy them. To each his own.

Hey ELhefi -
Keep the handlebars... They look good.
I have not seen this comment before.... I have handlebars a couple of inches higher than standard mountain bike bars. I like long rides. After some 20 miles or so, I start getting pinched nerve pains in the shoulder blade areas. Probably because I'm leaning over all that time. Let me know if that occurs with those handlebars. If not, I just might get new handlebars myself.
