This is the result of the last 5 weeks of long nights and weekends learning how to completely customize, fabricate and paint a chopper from the ground up. We started with an old, rusted out frame from a '59 columbia, and a rusty OCC Schwinn. We welded the two together along with custom motor mounts. There is no front brake, and a suicide rear brake to keep it old school.

The style was meant to be a combination of the old, streamlined harley bobbers from the 50's combined with the new school look of a modern style chopper.

The paint job pays homage to the style of 1950's greasers and features an extensive amount of pinstriping details and use of gold leaf.

The custom gas tank was hand built using nothing more than some tin snips and a welder.

Some of the old school accessories used was on old schwinn brass horn and an old schwinn speedometer from the 60's. There is a headlight floating around somewhere in the mail soon to be installed. All the leather work including grips and seat were hand stitched.

This was an extremely involved learning experience for me and my brother who built the bike in our backyard with nothing more than an angle grinder, a welder and some spray cans.

I hope you enjoy the pictures, there will be more to come in the near future as we are still fine tuning the bike and trying to reduce some of the vibrations through the frame. This site has been a valuable commodity while building up this bike. Most of all, its been fun as **** to learn how to do all this **** and produce such a professional looking product that is cool as **** to ride. Everyone stares at it. We even have had people cheer!

Cool bike!! You can tell that alot of thought and effort went into it. Enjoy the ride. Perhaps you could try some rubber washers on the motor mounts to help with vibes? Thanks for the pics.
