Hey everyone. I removed my factory carb intake cover because it was choking the motor after I port and polished everything. I replaced it with a rain sock and extra layer of foam filter. It's really breathing now and I can feel the difference. I'm getting ready to replace the lawn mower exhaust with a header pipe that is custom for this. I've been having issues with centrifugal clutch sprockets wearing down way too early and that chain skipping off. I figured out that the motor has been actually pulling itself back on the adjusting mount, even with two lockwashers on each bolt. My solution was just to cram some bolts in the space behind to prevent that. Works PERFECT. I also added a new super bright headlight.

NOW I NEED ADVICE: What is a good company or brand name for QUALITY SPROCKETS? I'm tired of wasting money on cheap sprockets.

The sprockets they sell at tractor supply are pretty good. The only thing is you have to weld those sprockets to the hub, if you don't have a welder, then you'll have to find something else

Does the chain fit the sprocket spacing? In the pic on the bottom the points on the sprocket seem to align with the rollers. That can't be the correct spacing, or it's just me the way I'm seeing the pic.
