Hi guys! I got my Huasheng 142F to run on my NT carb by using a fabricated intake manifold. I had issues with this intake manifold because of air leaks however this has been addressed and my motor now starts with one pull. Now here are new issues I have encountered, currently I'm using a stock NT carb with an SBP Airfilter (The one that I ordered for the stock carb, which fits perfectly well on the NT carb). The jet I used is a #78, I got this from djsiyreful's youtube channel with his 4 stroker running one.
Issues I encountered:
1.) idle is kind of unstable and at times sputtering
2.) starts easily even without the choke on
3.) bogs out at 3/4 to wot throttle
4.) very strong exhaust odor, not gasoline smell
5.) plug is black as night
6.) engine dies and kinds of chokes out after a few minutes of idling with some smoke coming out of the airfilter
I'm currently in the Philippines, at 89 feet from sea level, climate here is currently rainy (we have a series of storms coming this week)
