40mm intakes

Been using motors with 40mm intakes for a while now. Have them with aluminum intakes, but ordered some steel ones for spares. I'm finding that on a tight frame build, the carb often won't fit in the frame.

I've found some steel intakes that give about an inch of extra room when needed.

I use a longer offset intake on my gt5 that hangs the carb out the right side of the seat tube.

Yeah, had too many bowl foaming problems with those - in a pinch, I'll cut that in half and put rubber hose in middle of those and tie carb to frame, or cut in half and bring out clutch-arm side (bending arm down a bit so cable clears carb bowl)

really easier just to use the shorter ones if they'll fit
