Howdy.
I'm working on a new build and as this is my very first attempt at motorizing a 63 Schwinn Corvette, or any bike for that matter, I have a few questions.

I ordered an engine kit (a Zeda 80) and then stripped the frame down to bare metal. I'm in between coats of primer/paint and I thought I'd start assembling the rear sprocket but I ran into a sizing issue. The rear hub is a 3 speed Sturmey Archer and the sprocket and rag joint are too small in diameter.

I'd rather not go the Jack-Shaft route so my question is does someone make an adapter for this setup? Do you guys just flip the hub? Or is there another alternative that I'm missing?

I'd rather not re-invent the wheel here if I don't need to and any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I think a jackshaft may be your only choice. The 3 speed SA hubs work well with a jackshaft, according to some threads I've read.
