Difficulty pressing crank seals in

Out of both crank seals, I am only having this problem with the thicker main seal that's under the small bevel gear.

I am struggling with pressing the ID of the seal in.

-I have tried using sockets (15mm)
-Trying to press the ID before the seal is seated in the case.
-Tried pressing the ID once the seal is seated in the case.

What do you do? or is everyone else running around here with their ID's flipped outwards?

You always make sure ID is properly lubed with oil and seated before installing the seal. Install the seal with pressure as close to the OD as possible.
