Gebe Safety Cover

Has anyone figured out how to stop the vibration noise caused by the safety cover on the gebe system. I was considering putting a thin stip of rubber on the underside of the cover, but then thought, no, the heat will melt that. Any ideas. Or am I the only one noticeing the vibration noise. I'm running the Tanaka 32CC 2 stroke if that helps.

I was thinking of putting a rubber grommet in the mounting hole or a short rubber mounted standoff. I definitely noticed the noise from the cover.....
If anyone has a definite fix I would like to know about it!
