This thread will highlight my clean up and "Ride Readying" saga of my two "Motoped" bikes: The CRUZER and the SURVIVAL bikes. You can find much history on these short lived and well conceived bikes from a start up company from California, that struggled with their launch on KickStarter only to be rescued by a larger Penny Stock company in Kansas City MO. After that partner had a pretty sizable debt on the balance sheet, the run of these 3 (there was the "PRO" dirt track style bike) unique pedal assisted 4 stroke Honda clone engine bikes ended I believe the same year; 2015.

2015 article from the financial press discussing the move to acquire Motoped:

And here are two of their limited production bikes just off the trailer and a 4 hour round trip "Pick" much more to come. The Cruzer has a build date of October 2015 and the Survival was September 2015. Last 3 digits of the Cruzer are 177. Stay tuned!

Pretty rough pictures as they were parked. The adjustable oil filled rear shock picture is from the Cruzer and the mechanical spring shock is on the Survival.

These are both 50cc two speed (automatic) specially build Lifan engines made for MOTOPED. Only downside is electric start. So if the battery fails away from the shop your could be SOL. But, I will carry a LIPO lightweight battery with enough amps to start it like a jumper. ( Will need to relocate remote battery terminals as some have done becuse the batter is tucked under the frame below the gas tank and hard to access)
