I've had my mb for a few months now and want to clean the engine inside & out... Is there a how-to page somewhere on the breakdown and cleaning instructions? Thanks

If your engine is natural aluminum, clean the outside with engine degreaser. Follow the directions on the can.
!!!!! Degreaser will damage painted surfaces!!!!

Bag the carburetor first. Do not spray it with water!
If your CDI box might get sprayed, bag it too. They like to stay dry as well.
Open up the mag after the final rinse to let it dry out. Any water in there will do harm.
I clean out the gearcase with q-tips. Just wipe out all the grease that has flung off of the gears from the inside edges of the gearcase. While you are in there, put a peanut sized blob of fresh grease right where the 2 gears mesh.

Hmm, I pressure wash mine. After the wash, I crack the magneto cover to allow the water to drain and then I'm done. I don't cover the CDI or carb, never needed to.

Oh, I relube the bike chain again after the wash.
