Takeoff after stop and stalled

I was on my way to work this morning. I came to a light and stopped. When I went to takeoff it stalled and won’t start again. It cranks when I peddle and I can hear it spark. It has fuel and I just rebuilt the carb and cylinder head with new gaskets.
I’m interested in if anybody has had a similar issue and if so how they fixed.
I’m relatively new to this and any knowledge would certainly help. I will rebuild it tonight when I get home late.
I hope that’ll fix it but that won’t tell me what’s wrong with it.

Have you swapped rhe spark plug for an NGK BR6HS?

Most likely the head bolts need to be torqued again, if it rode just fine before this happened then that heat cycle compressed the gasket enough to cause a loss of compression.

I second checking the head bolt torque (12ft-lbs criss cross).

Also might be worth double checking all of the connectors for the ignition as well. One of the bullet connectors may have wiggled it's way loose.
