if you are loking for hoter plug keep what you have just put gap at 20 thnth/ie/.20 on normal spark gap give good hot spark I am a newbie but have benn running theses things for three years nowbuilt mine from scratch dont EVER get a bike built foer you buil;d one from scracth will help you in long run on keeping it running. your first isnt going to be PRETTY. like having your first car. its a learning process.
how do you know that someones first build isn't going to be pretty?
My first build sure is if i say so my self! I have seen a ton of others first builds that are pretty as well.
The first build may be ugly for someone who is not mechanically inclined, has no idea how an engine works, or has no eye for detail...But, not all first builds are ugly.
Oh he isn't looking for a hotter plug, he was just replacing the existing plug with a new one.
besides that, a hotter plug doesn't mean that it will create a hotter spark, to make the engine run better.
The difference between a hot plug and a cold plug is the heat range in which the plug will operate.
