Hey guys I really want to enjoy this hobby but it's getting ridiculous. This is the third drive chain I've went through and it's something different every time. This time I thought I had it just right I cut two links out of the chain went to put the tensioner on andI couldn't install it because there wasn't enough length on the chain to go on the wheel but it was too long and sagging without it WTF? Is there anything I can do to make this chain work I really don't want to buy another one because this whole POS build is about to break the bank. I hope if I can ever get it on the road it was worth all this this whole ordeal hasn't been the least bit enjoyable. I'd appreciate any help that's not going to cost more money. Thanks.

Maybe if you throw in a half link it will be long enough to use the tensioner

They extend the distance of the chain by half the length of a full size link.

Yes. It goes on one end of the chain before the master, then the master attaches to it.

I'm not sure but can always try it. I run a 41 roller chain on one of my builds and it works great. Never broke one and they're cheaper than the 415 chains. Get 10ft for like 15 or 20 dollars.
