But this isn't the case on a normal bike, right?

You had to modify the bottom bracket?

Correct, normal bikes do not have a front freewheel. There is a company in Taiwan that makes the front freewheel cranks. That is where I get them from.

They should be available in about 30 days and should be just under $200 US dollars.

4 stroke

Ghost0: Do you think that your jackshaft could be made to fit a 4 stroke Honda 50 frame mount? Thanks

4 stroke frame mount will definitely be the next project. I just don't have a 4 stroke kit to play with. My friend has a dead one that I plan on picking up so I can start looking into it. The kit as it is currently designed will not work on a 4 stroke frame mount.

Clean execution, nice package.

Just to congrats you for bringing this Front Freewheel and jackshaft kit to the market.
I think it is going to be a success. Count me on with one.

Update

Added a K&N air filter, new seat and a new bag to my rack. The bag is a small cooler from Wallyworld with a hard internal liner. It was easy to bolt the unit to the rack.
