I found this 2 stroke 49cc on Craigslist for $55 and had to snag it. This is my first 2 stroke so I'll have plenty of questions for everyone. It fires and runs fine. The seller told me it has a total of three hours on it so its not even broken in. I can't find a brand on it. Just serial number. I'm using it on a motorized mountain board project. QUESTIONS: what are the 3 intake ports on the carb for? I know the black line (top) is fuel. What is the silver nipple (top)? And brass nipple (side of carb)?
I was told to use 50:1 fuel. Is that correct? Any advice to break it in would be helpful. I will definitely read through the archives. Thanks

The black on the top of the carb is where the throttle cable goes in to interlock with the throttle slide (don't think thats the correct terminology but it gets the point across).

Now, the brass is nornally what i'd assume is gas in , since its the correct size and roughly correct height to feed the bowl... that other nipple looks like it goes to a shutoff valve for gas feed but the inside/outside diameter are huge , way larger than that little motor needs. That all is to say I have no idea personally with regards to silver/brass fittings.

PZ13 pocket bike carb

Petcock, silver nipple is for the 1/4" hose from the gas tank/fuel filter
The brass nipple is for the 3/16" overflow hose

Notice how the end of the overflow hose mounts on the bottom to hold it pointing down and out of the way
