make your own torque pipe

My first attempt at the famous jaguar pipe. Just got the templates made and traced onto an old furnace cover. Using basic tools (actually what was pretty much in reach) a hammer, metal snips and an old flashlight I used like a pipe to form it. It might be awhile before I get a chance to weld it up (My job is keeping me busy. Dang bills). Anyway here is what I have so far

Are you fermenting some grapejuice there??

Haha. I had too many blackberries. made some jelly and still had a lot more so that's my first attempt at wine. It might be ready to drink about the same time the jaguar pipe is ready for the bike (don't drink and drive......... it takes 2 hands to ride these bikes)
 
I used to grow a couple acres of raspberries. Made a FINE red wine.
Don't grow much any more, make my wine from kits these days.
I do have a fridge in the garage that dispenses 4 types of beer:

Generally, we are a fine group of crafty folk.
A drinking group with a bicycle problem...
