I'm not sure if I can make it this time, but well see. May or May not. If I can't, I'll do March FOR SURE.

I'm busy with another MB trailer project, and I also want to replace some old (but still working) parts on my existing rig before another long ride. I'm still on the same belt clutch that broke last time  because it's welded, but I've been using it on short trips mainly.

The new trailer in the works has a new 40-chain clutch, and I really can't wait to ride that, and it WILL be ready by March.

Any idea how many will show this time? I'm getting a few things together. My bike is running fine, and I'm getting a few spare $$$ and have some fuel, so I may be able to make it. It's not so cold now, and I really would enjoy riding now, I'll do a few more hard test/maintenance runs before just in case.

It's going to be much warmer this time, I'm going for sure. Make that count 5!

A smaller pack IMO will be easier to keep together on a nice ride!

The ride runs good, and I'm bringing extra clutch parts this time, and I'm keeping it well lubricated.

Brett, I can't wait to see your chopper again, especially now that the sprockets & chain setup are working!

Best of luck to all of us, and less pit stops!

You know this, man !!!

It shifts as fast as a motorcycle now.
I have the gearing too low right now. First gear is gone in a flash.
So I'm changing that out today at Jim's. I've gotten through stage one of my led light kit I'm formulating. The 3 watt led Headlight, battery, and charging system from the motor are all working. Now I have to find an electronic low voltage flasher relay for the blinkers and convert the moped turn signals and tail light to regular and super bright led's.

See you there!

Run Called...

Welp,

Looks like we're callin' off the run today.
Not enough people for this one.
Next mont will be yoooge! =-]'
Jim from Creative Engineering along with Craig will be there with their newly vamped and tricked Schwinn Spoilers, and also Junkyard Jason with his neat little snub chopper.

See you next month on the 3rd weekend,
and keep the fire burning, guys!

Allrighty,

Who's All Ready For The St. Pete Run Next Saturday, March 21st ???

Should be a good turn out this time around.

The weather is getting so beautiful around here. I've been perfecting the Rat Rod and she's runnin' sweet. We leave at 11:00 a.m. from Vinoy Park and ride down to the St. Pete Pier, then downtown St. Pete to the Saturday Street Market, then West down Central across the peninsula and over the Treasure Island Bridge. From there we ride down Gulf Blvd to Pass A' Grille Beach, and then return.

I'll have a springer front end installed this week on my ride so she'll be a full suspension, 5 speed chopper. I've almost got the all LED turn signal, tail and brake light system set up. By the way, if anyone is interested, I picked up a rare Stingray XL that I'm going to be building for sale. It'll have a jackshaft, 5 speeds, disc brakes, and custom ape hangers. The bike is Sapphire Blue Metal Flake and very pretty. The Stingray XL's have a much larger frame than the OCC Stingrays do, and doesn't need to be stretched.

Come On Y'all....LET'S RIDE OUT !!!!!!!

Glad to see your bike is running great now Brett!!!

Besides the upcoming meet, what's the plans for the next one? I know you mention 3rd weekend of each month, but I was wondering if any other plans were also made for April and May.
