NE5 or WC1

I am looking at a local Whizzer and I did a little reading and found out about the early engines being not so good. I thought I'd post a pic of the engine and see if you guys could identify it for me?

Yes, it's 100% WC-1. And a Beauty!
So what's the concern? are you looking for it for your self?
Looks like 24" wheels too, Nice.
Is it priced right?

They are asking 550$ which seems like a lot to spend on something that the motor is going to grenade on within 100 miles.

$550.00 is a great price, I'd buy it.
Did the owner say if any work /upgrades have been done?
Don't let this one get away.

I doubt there have been any upgrades done. How much $$ needs to be spent to make this WC1 reliable like the NE5?

For me, it would be neat, however I also have a KLR650, KLX250s, Honda Elite 110, Honda Ruckus, and a Yamaha c3 in the garage.
