New guy wants to learn about electric bikes and battery's

Totally out of my element trying to learn about electric bikes, specifically the batteries.

they're slow and have miserable range, but if you can find one that fits to your front hub and recharges while you pedal you can attach it to a bike that already has a gas engine and have a nice fast hybrid bike that recharges whenever you come off the electric motor's throttle
