Engine Trouble New Rider Bike Will Not Go Some Help Please!!

as for the seat post, i think if you have the seat post lowered as much as possible into the frame tube with no seat post coming out of the tube, then it should be ok.
with the seat raised up high, and the rider weight there's a lot of stress on that area because the seat will act like a lever.
I chopped my seat post to lower it, and then welded a standard seat post inside of it so i could bolt a regular 10 speed seat to it. I personally hate the stock o.c.c seats because they are the most uncomfortable, and one of the ugliest seats out there.

Seats

Yer right bro, It aint the prettiest seat out there by far. I kinda like the K.K. type seat with the curved post. A lot more comfortable and looks a heck of a lot better on the OCC's.

yeah that seat is pretty cool.
I like my seats as low as possible because i don't like seeing the seat post.
I'm after the real chopper look, and you don't see seatposts on real choppers.

so why not just use a real motorcycle solo seat?
and use the springs that are for them
springs come in 2-5 inches long most springs are crome plated.
I think you would have to make your own seat mount as the seat mounts we sell at work i doubt would fit
