It needs to be mentioned that the money i've spent on my bike has been over 2 and a bit years.
The individual items may not be expensive but when sitting down and adding up the $65 here, the $30 there, this $120 modification, that $70 modification etc, etc, it becomes a frightening figure.
I'm aghast at how much money i've spent on a push bike but it's such an enjoyable and addictive hobby that's made all the more special when riding past a group of cyclists painfully struggling their guts out on some hill climb, whilst you sail past; having an almost unhealthy level of joy, not to mention the ear to ear smile on your face with 90 lbs hanging off the back of your bike as you give them positive encouragement to "keep on pushing" for the next 15 miles of hill climb are going to be he!!
