Slippin' a WC-1 Cam Into an NE Engine:

Here's What I've Noticed:

At 3000 ft altitude, and with a #90 Main Jet, I find that I have to wait until the engine is FULLY warmed up before I can apply full throttle, or else it will bog down and I'll have to reduce throttle. But after warmup, it doesn't feel like full-throttle is any stronger than 3/4 throttle.

I have no idea where my clip is set for the valve needle...how do you know where it's set and how do you change it?

With a milled head and a #82 main jet arriving soon, I'll probably have to change the "clip" setting for the needle valve.

Thanks...

Slide carb needle adjustment

To view and adjust the jet needle, screw the top off the carb, pull the slide out of the carb, release the cable from the slide and it's all right there in front of you. The clip on the top of the needle and the 5 grooves are the range of adjustment.
