Saw carb tuning help

Set the low idle circuit screw all the way in and then 1/2 turn out, the high idle screw all the way in and then 2 turns out. Then adjust from there until you find the best idle. Check the main idle screw, make sure the throttle lever is returning to the stop, but not on the screw. That's all the primary set up, from there it only take tiny adjustments to set.

Here is my carb. The two diagonal holes don't go anywhere. There are two holes in the gaskets that came with it but they don't line up with them. I'm not sure what the small brass thing is near the top. The cover with the return outlet has two small holes in it, which I thought was weird.

That's not a rwj-4 or the rwj-4b clone of the original rwj-4. Give me a little bit, I'll run down in the shop and grab one to show you. I'm sure I have one laying around. You may have a pulse line with that.

Ok that is the rwj-4, for some reason my head was stuck on the hs series. I'm not sure where the hell I am today or most days for that matter. lol. The extra line is the pulse. I just opened one brand new right out of a seal box. You have the right carb, I forgot thats the one you need to pulse, and the hs has it on the intake side. My bad.

I been messing round with engine swapping lately, and well I got my carbs mixed up. I think I just put the hs back on my 100cc, and it needs the rwj. lol

I've never seen a chainsaw with a pulse line. Inside the intake side of the carb there should be a tiny little hole on the pump side of the carb.

Alright, so how do I set it up correctly? Do I need to do anything different?
