Unisex bike, you can remove the top tube to make it into a girls bike. Ever see this before?

Poland was making bikes like that when they were still under Soviet rule...The reason they made them like that was because being a Soviet satellite country at the time, getting enough steel for making enough for both boys and girls model bikes and being able to produce some sort of profit as well as making enough volume was a task in itself under the Soviet system...They decided to make them this way to be able to manage their inventories to a minimum so as not to be understocked on a boys bike or overstocked on girls bikes...They had decided to make a "convertible" style bike instead to solve this problem.
 
If someone started making a top piece like that in different lengths that would open up a whole new variety of frames to motorize
