Can you use the white wire instead of the blue to power cDi and cause spark? Blue goes bad use white

i heard that the blue wire can go bad off magneto and you can use the white for power ? I’s this possible?

if the blue wire goes bad, the white wire goes bad with it. your best bet is to simply cut off the white wire, as it's usually what's at fault for killing coils

not always - since the 2-wire mags came out, some folks ignorantly complained that they'd been shorted a white wire

so now, some makers are adding a white wire right onto the same tab as the blue wire - in this case, if the connector on the blue wire goes bad the white wire can be used instead (note: if the coil goes bad, then both blue & white will be dead)
