Hello everyone I was wondering if any of you could give me a opinion on the 79cc predator. I'm adding a torque converter but I don't know which one will be better. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be the belt drive and not the chain. But does the belt drive fit with no problems on the 79cc? If anyone could let me know if there's any other things I might have to do or buy that would be awesome thank you!

Torque converter is too big for that engine and the shaft size is wrong. Even with the reducer sleeve it wont work as the keyway is built into the unit. You're much better off building your own set up with a centrifugal clutch and jackshaft or buy the ezqmatic tramsmission but you may still need a jackshaft with that too

Here's a 79 with centrifugal/jackshaft
